Have you ever stood by the rails and heard the thump of hooves fanfare the horses’ arrival, into the final straight, with the cacophony of the anticipating crowd roaring behind you? Just think, if one of those leading horses was your own, even a small part of it and then imagine the intensity of emotion if you were sharing that moment with your close friends.
It is not just the winning but the sense of collegiate ownership. The knowledge that your ‘team’ know what the trainer has planned. They understand what the jockey is trying to do and maybe they even sense what the horse is thinking.
Aspirations to Reality
We are here to help alleviate the stresses of racehorse ownership and make aspirations reality.
It has been said that the experience of watching horses race is similar to being lent five minutes of freedom. Owning a horse bestows a level of pride and excitement, unrivalled in any other sport. Therefore, it is disappointing, that the onerous hindrance of management should quell the unique joy of race horse ownership.
The Racing Manager has put together a cross section of experts across a wide range of industries, including technology, finance, accounting, banking, marketing and branding. All of these have an intricate knowledge of the horse racing industry. Whether you are a syndicate member, a syndicate manager, a trainer, an agent, or simply an enthusiast, The Racing Manager strives to dispel the drudgery of racehorse ownership.
This is your site and we appeal to everyone in horse racing
Trainers and syndicate managers will be able, if they choose, to fully ‘white label’ (add your own business branding to) our platform behind their own websites, so as to maintain their individuality. Privacy and client confidentiality are of paramount importance to us. The Racing Manager Ltd do not own horses and do not run syndicates, we simply offer a safe, discreet service that helps relieve the burden of horse racing ownership. We are happy to be the invisible quiet purring engine behind your success.
How It Works
Enjoyment, Entertainment and Enhanced user Experience.
An alliteration of ‘E’s!
It is what we are really in the game for and what The Racing Manager is particularly adept at.
By ‘harnessing’ all the information flow across the platform, from a wide diversity of contributors, (we have done joint ventures to access up to date, incisive data and opinion), including managers, trainers, members and owners, we will create a personalised flow of colourful and unique knowledge, tailored to each horse, available on demand.
The Racing Manager will give a full race-day entertainment package for those not able to attend on the day. With our technology, we can make sure all members are informed fully on their horses at all times.
OUR NEW TECHNOLOGY WILL ALLOW SYNDICATE TRAINERS, MANAGERS, JOCKEYS AND STABLE STAFF TO KEEP ALL THEIR MEMBERS IN TOUCH MUCH MORE EASILY. SYNDICATE MEMBERS WILL FEEL CLOSER TO THE ACTION THAN EVER BEFORE.
Accounting, Insurance and Banking access
Unfortunately we cannot escape it, the largest gripe we hear from trainers and syndicate managers, apart from that their horses don’t run fast enough, is about the mountains of paperwork that they have to face on a daily basis …it just goes on and on. The Racing Manager offers innovative technology solutions to tackle bookkeeping more quickly, easily and cheaply. We interact with all the major banks and our special relationship with the online racing bank, Racing FX, allows us to offer an additional suite of exciting syndicate banking products exclusive to our members. We intend to offer innovative insurance products, unique to this platform, to protect syndicate members and managers from unforeseen problems.
The most important ingredient to successful horseracing ownership is communication. Not just the odd missive or a rushed email, we mean a proper flow of relevant and interesting news. Bulletins from the people owners want to hear from; video clips from the gallops; chats from the trainers; comments from the winning jockey (hopefully yours); explanations before the race and debriefings after. All the media comment on your horse. The Racing Manager’s platform offers an innovative spectrum of tools which will allow contributors to communicate with their members more easily.
The site offers an easy to use guide to starting one’s own syndicate, covering registration, colours selection, advice on choosing a trainer and more.
For those not in a present syndicate or wanting to start their own, there will be a wide range of syndicates advertised for them to join; hopefully a syndicate to suit all budgets and tastes.
The syndicate managers will be happy to discuss any requirement you have. You and your friends will be one click away from being a participant in the ‘The Sport of Kings’.
It is important that all new participants, entering horse race ownership, appreciate the risks and understand the code of conduct. By doing so they will gain the security that results in a full user experience.
THE RACING MANAGER WEBSITE WILL GUIDE NEWCOMERS SEAMLESSLY THROUGH ALL THE OWNERSHIP ALTERNATIVES AND HELP THEM DECIDE WHAT STYLE OF OWNERSHIP SUITS THEM BEST.
Education is at the forefront of what we do.
The Racing Manager even has an entertaining ‘demo-ownership’ page, where you can play around with the monetary and racing options and trial various scenarios. Do you fancy owning ‘Buttercup’ and training him with Ivor String? You will be able to see how much it costs and determine exactly what style of syndicate and cost structure is right for you and your friends.
Transparency and regulation
To achieve full trust amongst stakeholders, within horse racing ownership, total transparency in what managers, trainers and agents are doing, is vital. That means openness in all transactions and willingness to answer all questions, especially those that are relevant to the well-being and finances of your horse.
The Racing Manager strongly adheres to the BHA’s (British Horseracing Authority) code of conduct. All actions and processes, on our site, fall within this sphere. In fact we have added a number of our own codes as well and we will compel all syndicates to instigate a much greater knowledge of who their clients, members and stakeholders are.
Each person in a syndicate needs to feel totally comfortable with other members and their management. A high level of assuredness protects a group’s overall interests and falls in line with what is normal practice in all other transaction based businesses outside of the sport. We consider it important that individuals feel comfortable and safe . We aim to contribute to that by raising the level of regulation to protect the syndicate and horse-racing in general.
The Racing Manager offers solutions to all members of the horse racing community.
